Deep Sober is a sobriety and recovery project published by Nick Jordan, a writer and recovering alcoholic. The site started as a series of pretty desperate Facebook posts about the wreckage that alcoholism and depression had brought to Nick’s life. Now actively engaged in recovery, Nick created Deep Sober, which works to support people who suffer from addiction, depression and other debilitating afflictions, that are often misunderstood by society.

We are not professional experts on the matter, nor counsellors, but we have seen it, done it, lived it and survived to tell the tale. In that sense at least, we hope these stories and resources can help shed some light onto the darkness of addiction and other mental health disorders.

Deep Sober is and always will be a free resource and is staffed by volunteers. But, if you’d like to buy us a coffee we certainly wouldn’t say no Check our Ko-Fi link to donate.

If you’re interest in submitting an article for Deep Sober, then please contact us here. Please bear in mind that we can’t pay writers for submissions, but we are happy to promote links to your own pages or social media etc.

We’d also like to say a word of thanks to our dear friend Jean-Luc Benazet for hosting this website. You can find Jean-Luc’s web design service here. Merci bien, mon ami
